Text Box: Gaven Industries’ Econo-Shield R.F. Shielded Enclosures are ideally suited for rectangular shaped rooms when a free standing, demountable shielded enclosure fits the project requirements. Shielding performance exceeds MIL-STD 73-2A and is greater than 100 dB at frequencies up to 1 GHz. Prefabricated 2.5” deep fire rated wood frames are wrapped with 3oz. Copper sheet. These prefabricated panels are screwed together on 4”centers to form the walls and ceiling. The R.F. Shielded ceiling is additionally supported from the structure above. When used with an MRI system, the floor’s R.F. Shield is 7oz. Copper sheet with all seams continuously soldered. 1.5” deep prefabricated panels can be made for the floor when a completely modular enclosure is desired for other than an MRI. Interior furring on 2’ centers is provided for the installation of interior finishes. An entire prefabricated enclosure is very lightweight and can be crated for shipping to anywhere in the world. The Econo-Shield Enclosure is mated with Gaven’s other custom manufactured shielded components to form a complete Shielded System, and the entire system, including windows and doors, carry a 5 Year Warranty as a standard on the performance of the shield. Normal wear items, such as door gaskets, and the air seals on pneumatic doors, are excluded.  Electrical filters are warranted by their respective manufacturer for a period of 1 year.
