Text Box: Gaven Industries Inc. Radio Frequency Sliding Doors offer the highest shielding performance available in their class along with extraordinary compact size and are virtually maintenance free.
The Gaven Industries R.F. Sliding Door’s total depth is only 7-3/8”, 2-1/4” of which resides within the surrounding wall structure. The Sliding Door protrudes a total of only 5-1/8” into the room, freeing up precious floor space especially in areas such as Operating Rooms where the opening and shutting of swinging doors often requires moving of equipment.
The entire Door Frame and Door Leaves are made of 304 Stainless Steel for its Non-Magnetic and Corrosion resistance properties and also for ease of cleaning and infection control.
The operator’s DC Gear-Motor is sealed, has ground and hardened gears and employs roller and needle bearings in lieu of plain or bronze bushings for many years of quiet and reliable operation.
Every component utilized in the manufacture of Gaven Industries’ Radio Frequency Sliding Doors was chosen for its reliability, longevity and ease of maintenance. It will provide many years of trouble free service.
Gaven Industries Inc. Radio Frequency Sliding Doors are warranted for a period of 3 years.
Text Box: The Communication-Status Board provides the user with a convenient method of monitoring the door remotely via simple RS-232 protocols and it displays the current configuration and status of the door on the 13 LED’s.
Text Box: The air seals, with proper care, will last for many years without need for replacement. There are Gaven Air Door Seals that have been in service for over 15 years without the need for replacement.
Text Box: The Magnetic Clutch couples the DC Gear Motor with the Header Operator assembly. The Magnetic Clutch has its own fully regulated and adjustable DC Power supply located on the Control Board.
If the Key on the Operation-Status Panel is turned off or if power fails, the Magnetic Clutch disengages allowing the door to be easily moved by hand.
The Magnetic Clutch also provides protection for personnel, equipment or the Door itself by slipping should something, or someone, obstruct the door’s movement while either closing or opening!
