No single conventional material can provide electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI and RFI) shielding for wide frequency ranges. TI-Shield™, an EMS clad composite, sold exclusively by Gaven Industries Inc., combines the electrical conductivity of Copper with the magnetic permeability of a Proprietary Ferromagnetic Material to achieve high-energy conduction, absorption and reflection. Its high performance-to-weight ratio means that very thin sections provide more EMI protection than traditional materials, and because it attenuates both magnetic and electrical fields, while reducing system costs. At only .014” thick and .61 lbs/sqft. TI-ShieldTM surpasses the magnetic performance of steel at 6 times the thickness and weight. Very High Performance enclosures can be installed quickly with literally no structural modifications to the parent area and afford more usable space than any other comparable system.
