The server cabinet can be designed to house multible waveguides or pass throughs for fiber optic lines. Cannon bulkhead connectors or other connectors can be installed to fit the customers specific needs.
If an onsite power filter is used or a small electical filter is needed, Gaven can provide the appropriate design to power the cabinet. Filtered power can be fed into the cabinet through a fully welded steel pipe penetration to a junction box inside the cabinet. Alternatively, Gaven can design the cabinet to include a surface mounted electrical filter
Keeping a constant temperature range to reduce the possability of condensation in the cabinet is very important for the equipment inside. If the cabinet is at altitude or used in a desert operation, Gaven can advise on the envirmental controls needed to maintain the equipment popualting the cabinet.
Depending on the communications equipment populating the cabinet, Gaven can provide the appropriate signal filter.
The size of the server rack is specified by the end user, typically between 13U up to 41U of rack space. It is mounted to heavy duty glides allowing for easy access to the rear side of the equipment when drawn out of the cabinet.
Gaven Industrie's panented Wide Knife Edge truly brings the design of a "knife edge" door forward into the 21st century. Unlike the extruded brass commonly used in "knife edge" doors, the 304 stainless steel used throughout the construction is not subject to wear and corrosion due to everyday use.
